Sam
I'm trained in worm farming (yes, you read "worm" correctly!), permaculture, and theology. Originally from North Carolina, USA, I lived with my family in Brazil for 7 years prior to moving to England.
Here in Birmingham I am ordained in The Fellowship of Churches of Christ (FCC) and work primarily in community regeneration and urban gardening. Through Companions, I mentor new friends who are released from the local penitentiary as well as work with Cooperative Futures focusing on food cooperatives.
It is a joy and pleasure to live in this place with my family and to work alongside old and new friends in the garden and at our local coffee shop.

Rosalee
The big city of São Paulo is my hometown. Similar to life in São Paulo, I enjoy the diversity and excitement of living in Birmingham. Sam and I have 3 children, various hens, a cat, dog, goldfish, and maybe a soon-to-come goat—all of us living only a 15-minute walk from city centre!
Most of my work is in theological education, training, and publishing. In September 2018 I started as the new principal of Redcliffe College and will continue to help the Theological Commission of the World Evangelical Alliance.
I love meeting and working with people of different backgrounds and traditions and find myself continually challenged to listen for the ways God might be speaking to us through the most unexpected and surprising people.
